  All HACLA Offices Closed to Walk-Ins In consideration of the recent order issued for the State of California by Governor Newsom, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles has transitioned to teleworking where possible at this time. Although many HACLA staff will be working remotely, we will continue to provide critical services moving forward. On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, Mayor Eric Garcetti joined HACLA CEO Doug Guthrie, along with 9th District City Councilmember Curren Price, LAFD, and CORE to announce that mobile testing units would be deployed over the next two months to all 15 of HACLA’s public housing locations. The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) has partnered with Starry, a wideband hybrid fiber wireless internet service provider, to expand affordable broadband access to more than 600 households in Mar Vista Gardens.
