Mixed Income: ​​​Market Rate & Affordable

Market Rate: Many of our buildings contain units that are not income restricted and accept any income level, with rents comparable to the going market rate for similar units. People who hold Tenant-Based Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers are welcome.

Affordable: Properties or units restricted by household income level. Certain properties are part of the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Section 8 Program. In project-based programs, rental assistance is paid for families who live in specific apartment buildings or units. The rental subsidy is tied to the unit and the tenant is not required to hold a voucher.


Senior Properties

Properties or units restricted to persons 55 or 62 years of age or older; or properties or units restricted to people with disabilities.

The HACLA Asset Management department has a Facilities Management function which is dedicated to the maintenance, operation, move management, safety, and care of HACLA’s approximately 230,000 square feet of commercial office space. Our commercial properties are located at:

Facilities management provides various services to these commercial properties, including:

  • Maintain after hours building security and help with safety compliance
  • Upkeep of grounds and building systems (mechanical, HVAC, elevator)
  • Provide client services, move management, janitorial services, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Lease execution and compliance monitoring
