San Fernando Gardens residents participated in the California State University, Northridge Summer Movie Fest, a Harry Potter themed extravaganza.
Residents brought along blankets, chairs, snacks, pillows and a good attitude. They enjoyed a special screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone as they relaxed on blankets in the lawn.
A costume contest was part of the night’s festivities. Contestants were dressed as idolized figures in the film. Free activities, such as face-painting, raffles, a balloon-artist, and wand makers helped to create a “magical” atmosphere under the moonlit night.
Movie night at CSUN was filled with friends, laughter, and a great movie. We hope to join CSUN again next summer.
