Section 8 Valley and South Offices Location 

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles' Section 8 Waiting list is currently closed.  No new applications will be accepted.

• HACLA's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) continues to provide excellent service to low-income residents of Los Angeles. Recently, HACLA's Section 8 HCVP was certified as a "High Performer" for the administration and management of its Section 8 program.  The Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) is a “report card” for public housing agencies (PHAs) who administer the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).
• The Section 8 program is financed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide rental assistance to very low income families.
