HACLA Receives the NAHRO Agency Award of Merit

HACLA was awarded the NAHRO Agency Award of Merit
at the 2008 NAHRO Summer Conference in July at Nashville.

The award recognizes the stringent Conflict of Interest Policy that HACLA has implemented. Through the hard work of staff that researched ethics/incompatible activities and various statutes and developed a stringent policy, HACLA has enhanced the agency’s already considerable positive transformation.

NAHRO Agency Awards of Merit are designed to give national recognition to innovative housing and community development projects, programs, and services provided by NAHRO agency members throughout the country; to provide additional opportunities to inform the public of the best in housing and community development; and to create a resource bank of information on significant innovative activities performed by housing and redevelopment agencies and community development departments.
