Youth at Mar Vista Gardens public housing community near Culver City have a brand new playground to run around and enjoy their summer days thanks to a grant obtained by the city’s Recreation and Parks Department. The grand also allowed the installation of a new ballfield lighting system.
Housing Authority Commissioners Maria Del Angel and Lucelia Hooper along with Housing Services Director Sanford Riggs and Assistant Director Debra Amenson joined Councilman Bill Rosendahl for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
