HACLA Commissioners & CEO visit Imperial Courts

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles held an off-site Board of Commissioners Committee meeting at Imperial Courts public housing on Thursday.  Conducting the meetings at off-site locations allow our residents to participate and find out all the important happenings with the agency.

HACLA’s president and CEO, Rudolf C. Montiel, along with Department Directors reported on various activities to the Commission including public safety issues, the Jordan Downs Redevelopment project as well as the dramatic decrease in public housing vacancies.

Following the meeting, Commissioners, the CEO and HACLA staff conducted a walking tour of the development.  The tour was led by resident and community activist Perry Crouch.  Crouch explained all the improvements to the site and thanked HACLA for always working on behalf of the residents.  Employees at the on-site Worksource portal also joined the tour providing an up-to-date list of services provided to the residents.
