The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles actively pursues both public funds and strategic partnerships with private-sector developers with the aim of building new communities from a fast-aging public housing stock. The Housing Authority recently finished revitalizing the Normont Terrace public housing site (now called Harbor Village) and
is currently revitalizing both Pico Gardens and Aliso Village in East Los Angeles.  The results of these revitalization efforts can be viewed by clicking on the links on the left. Further information on HUD's HOPE VI  Public Housing Revitalization Program can be obtained by clicking on the photograph above.
