Commissioner Marisa Hall
Marisa Hall is a Los Angeles native and has over 20 years of leadership experience working for Fortune 500 biological/pharmaceutical companies. (GlaxoSmithKline, AbbVie, Abbott, GEHealthcare etc.) She currently works at Eisai, Inc as a Healthcare Account Executive. During her tenure, she has developed and executed successful marketing campaign strategies to support biological, pharmaceutical, and medical device product launches. Her work has been formally recognized for its impact and contribution to the industry earning her several district, regional, and national awards through her positions. She is also an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and women’s rights. Marisa has dedicated herself to ensuring that the voices of the underrepresented are heard, not only in healthcare but throughout the community.
For the last 18 years Marisa Hall has hosted women empowerment panel discussions, started LGBTQ initiatives, mentored young girls who were victims of human trafficking, advocated for diversity and inclusion in film, healthcare, and the corporate world. As a breast cancer survivor, she also participates in Susan G Komen annual walks.
Marisa continues to share her knowledge and her lived experience as both an African American and a woman, to provide insight and perspective that helps guide people to gain insight and engage in effective change that matters. With a focus on education, relationship, insight, and accountability practices Marisa Hall embraces the opportunity to create significant experiences and expectations for system-wide changes while placing a large emphasis on delivering subject matter that reflects opportunity for actionable solutions.
Marisa is a member of The Links, Incorporated. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. In addition, she is a graduate of Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA Program at the USC Marshall school of business. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling abroad and spending time with family.
Commissioner Hall was appointed to the Board on September 6, 2022.
