$650K Funding for Project SOAR

On August 29, Rep Jimmy Gomez presented a check for $650,000 to Southern California College Access Network (SoCal CAN) for Project SOAR.  Project SOAR provides free college and career advising to our residents and is currently at Ramona Gardens, William Mead Homes, Nickerson Gardens, and Avalon Gardens. This additional funding will help with the expansion of the program to additional sites, including Pico Gardens and Mar Vista Gardens.
