Congresspersons Pelosi and Gomez Visit LACI and Discuss EV Program at Rancho San Pedro

On August 25, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and Congressman Jimmy Gomez, representing California's 34th District, toured the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) campus to discuss their work on zero emission transportation. HACLA staff met with the elected officials to discuss the electric vehicle (EV) car-share program at Rancho San Pedro. Following the tour, a press event was held to discuss the Inflation Reduction Act recently signed by President Biden, which offers rebates on the purchases of used EVs.
