HACLA Celebrates Grand Opening of Missouri Place

On July 26, 2022, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles joined Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilmember Mike Bonin, Thomas Safran & Associates and others to celebrate the official ribbon cutting ceremony for Missouri Place. Located at 11998 Missouri Avenue in Los Angeles' 11th Council District, Missouri Place offers 74 units of affordable housing, with 44 units dedicated to project based vouchers. The target population is chronically homeless individuals and families and supportive services will be provided by Imagine LA.

The property features one, two, and three-bedroom units with modern amenities. Unit features include kitchens and bathrooms with granite countertops and solid-wood cabinetry.

Residents can enjoy a community room equipped with a full kitchen, spacious seating areas, a computer lounge, library, pool table, piano and TV room. Other amenities include a parking garage, laundry facilities, fitness room, playground and barbecue area, and resident gardens surrounded with lush landscaping.

The gated community features secured access and on-site management and maintenance staff. Ongoing regularly scheduled events include monthly resident parties, fitness classes, inclusive holiday celebrations, and onsite social services support for Permanent Supportive Housing households.

Thomas Safran & Associates has partnered with HACLA on eleven PBV projects, totaling 454 PBV units (and 908 total units).

On Thursday, May 19, 2022, HACLA joined Mayor Garcetti and Venice Community Housing to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Rose Apartments in Venice. This HHH-funded permanent supportive housing complex contains 35 units and also offers on-site supportive services.
