HACLA Celebrates Grand Opening of Sun Commons

On October 2, 2023, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) attended the Grand Opening of Sun Commons. Located at 6329 Clybourn Street in North Hollywood, the ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Developers Abbey Road and Link Housing. Of the 103 units in the building, 51 of the units are Project-Based Voucher units subsidized by HACLA's PBV program. The remaining units are reserved for families and individuals earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). HACLA's estimated project contribution is expected to be $28.2 million in HAP (housing assistance payments) over the 20-year contract. Supportive services will be provided by Penny Lane Centers.
