HACLA Celebrates Grand Opening of Talisa Apartments

On October 12, 2023, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) joined Domus Development and LA Family Housing for the grand opening celebration of Talisa Apartments. Located at 9502 Van Nuys Boulevard in Los Angeles, Talisa Apartments is a 49-unit permanent supportive housing development serving homeless and chronically homeless families in the City of Los Angeles. The property will be adjacent to a future MTA Light Rail stop along Van Nuys Boulevard and will include a community room, offices for supportive services (provided by LA Family Housing), and areas for case management. HACLA's estimated project contribution is $29.1 million in HAP (housing assistance payments) over the 20-year contract.
