Due to health and safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (“WHD”) will not be hosting in-person Prevailing Wage Seminars in 2020. The WHD plans to offer virtual prevailing wage seminars to provide training and outreach on topics such as compliance and enforcement of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts.

On July 30th HACLA held its Annual KPI and Section 3 Scholarship celebration. Twenty nine college bound youth from HACLA’s public housing sites received scholarships for a total of $38,000. Thanks to the generous donations from Section 3 partners, we were able to support our youth who have demonstrated grit, curiosity and commitment to their education.
