Grant Development & Administration

One of HACLA’s strategic goals is to diversify funding streams and reduce reliance on federal funding through competitive grants and supportive partnerships. These additional resources and collaborative opportunities provide HACLA the ability to fasttrack capital improvements at our properties and expand the current scope of services and amenities available to our residents, clients and program participants.

Grant development happens across all HACLA departments and each unit works in close partnership with the centralized grant operations team within the Policy & Innovation Department to vet, secure and administer competitive funds that support our targeted priorities and fundraising goals.

HACLA’s primary impact areas: Housing & Community Development, Workforce Development, Green Improvements, and Specialized Support & Services.
